First Week

The first few days of class, an easy first week that's used to get everyone's feet wet. But yet as new freshman get their first taste of college, and returning students meet up with old acquaintances; work goes on. Meetings, scheduling guest speakers, and distributing flyers....and attending class. All in a days work for the new GeoClub President! Things are changing around here. Previous administrations have stagnated, weekly meetings were not the most desirable to attend. But that is changing. Professionals from every end of the geology world want to be involved! The amount of guest speakers have prompted a friday room reservation all semester just for them. Times are looking up. Over the summer we achieved becoming an AAPG Student Chapter. The amount of excitement from our members is overwhelmingly great. Yep, things are looking up!
